I'm Edmund, otherwise known online as Southdunedain, a recent graduate in Classics from Durham University, now studying for a Masters in Archaeology at the same place. 'Palatine Ponderings' is so called because the three counties closest to my heart are the three 'counties palatine' in England: Cheshire, County Durham, and Lancashire.
I anticipate that these ponderings will be on a broad range of subjects which interest me, including (but not limited to) topics as diverse as governance, Catholicism, the Classical world, history, space flight, photography and wargaming - basically whatever I find intriguing and think others might like to know about.
